The staff of Lifestyle Support Services, Inc. meet and exceed the training standards of the PA Department of Human Services. The role of our staff is to ensure a safe environment for the physical and emotional well-being of the individuals to whom we provide services and supports. Individuals rely on staff to inform them of their choices, accept and respect those choices and offer guidance, support and assistance as necessary.
In the home and community, staff strive to familiarize the individual with the community in which he or she lives and to encourage the individual to participate in the activities of their choice in their community. In the school setting, staff support the individuals by advocating for and ensuring the individual’s right to an education.
In all settings, Lifestyles Support Services, Inc. staff assist individuals to maximize their abilities by engaging the individuals in activities, including everyday routines as well as social, recreational, and educational opportunities, which may pique their interest or further enhance their quality of living.
At all times, staff respect cultural and religious preferences and ensure that individuals have ongoing opportunities to participate in activities of their choice.
