The staff of Lifestyle Support Services, Inc. has combined years of experience in both the Mental Health and Mental Retardation systems. There is a realization by the Office of Mental Retardation that individuals with mental retardation are frequently challenged by mental illness. Given this, there is an increasing need to provide a truly integrated community model offering intensive clinical supports so as to avoid more restrictive interventions and placement outside of the community environment.
